They have different quality levels, and you could decide which one you think looks the best. Once we create our signature, Ill also show you a few ways that you can very quickly and easily then reuse your signature. One of them is by saving it as a transparent PNG, and then Ill also show you how we could use something called quick parts within Microsoft Word. One thing to call out before we jump into this, today were creating an electronic signature. Thats basically an image of your handwritten signature, and that differs from a digital signature, which is a certificate that validates your identity. Thats out of the scope today. How to add a digital signature in Word Move your cursor to the area you want to sign inside the Word document. Select the Insert tab. Select the Text group and open the Signature Line list. Click Microsoft Office Signature Line and the Signature Setup dialogue box should appear.
