A paperclip icon next to a citation in the Library window indicates a file has been attached to that record.
To attach a file, go to Insert Attach File in PDF. To embed a file, go to Insert Embed File in PDF. Browse to and select the file that you want to insert, and click Select on the Select File dialog.
Its the paperclip with a + symbol in the toolbar at the top of the document. Click Attach File on the menu. Youll see this option on the menu at the top of the window. Click where you want to attach the file.
Click anywhere on the document to see the Open dialog box. Choose your file and click Open to add this file. The attachment icon will appear on your page.
How Do I Convert My Documents to a PDF? The recommended way to create a PDF is to save your document as a PDF. Best way to create an ideal PDF is, Click FILE. SAVE AS Name the document. Change the Save as Type to PDF. Click SAVE. You will now have a PDF version of your document.
Create a Desktop Shortcut for a File or Folder Navigate to the file or folder on your computer. Right click the file or folder and a menu will appear. Click the Send To item on the list. Left click the Desktop (create shortcut) item on the list. Close or minimize all open windows.
From the left sidebar, select the View more option and navigate to the Add rich media option. Then choose either the 3D Media , Video , or Sound tool, depending on the type of multimedia file you want to add. To add a video or sound to a specific area on a page, you can either drag or double-click the desired location.
Open your PDF document and go to the Attachments pane on the left side of the Acrobat user interface. The Attachments pane is represented by the paperclip icon. Now navigate to the file you want to attach, select it and click OK. This should now show you the new attachment in the Attachments pane.
