Open your PDF in the Preview app. Select the page you want to delete. If you dont see the sidebar to select a page, choose View Thumbnails. Press Delete or choose Edit from the menu bar and then Delete.
Take these steps to split a PDF on your Mac using Preview: Open your PDF in the Preview app. Open the thumbnail view and select the page or pages you would like to separate. Drag and drop the pages to your desktop or to another folder.
Press Control (on Windows) or Command (on Mac) and click on the pages you want to extract. Right-click on the selected pages. Choose Extract Pages In the new dialog box, check Extract Pages As Separate Files if you want each page as a separate PDF.
Delete a page from a PDF: Choose View Thumbnails or View Contact Sheet, select the page or pages to delete, then press the Delete key on your keyboard (or choose Edit Delete).

In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to change. Do any of the following: Add a page to a PDF: Select the page you want to appear before the new page, choose Edit Insert, then choose Page from File or Blank Page. The new page is inserted after the current page.
How to extract pages from a PDF Open the Organize Pages tool. Click the Select a File button. Open a PDF you want to extract pages from. Select Extract in the top menu. Highlight pages you want to extract. Click Extract to extract the selected pages. Save your new PDF.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to copy from. Do any of the following: Copy text: Choose Tools Text Selection, drag over the text, then choose Edit Copy. Copy a portion of text vertically: Choose Tools Text Selection, hold down the Option key as you select the text, then choose Edit Copy.
