PDFs are ideal for securely storing and signing documents due to their formatting and editing restrictions. Mac OS users can easily add their signature to a PDF using the Preview app. To do so, open the PDF in Preview, click on the show marker toolbar icon, select the signature icon, and create and save your signature using the trackpad, built-in webcam, iPhone, or iPad. With the trackpad, sign your name using your finger, and for a thicker stroke, press more firmly with a force touch trackpad. Once signed, press any key and click done to save the signature.
