this recording is to demonstrate how you adjust how you load curves save curves and adjust them and Im going to color print and Im going to activate the folder that I want the curve to be applied to and actually I double click on it brings up the different attributes and Im going to click on the tab the adjust tab at the top here and you see this has no curve applied to it at all this is the Rips default anytime you buy a printer youre going to have some halftone curve or tonal adjustments to the color print or to the halftone print you should be able to find somewhere where you can adjust the tone of the print and in our machine we do that through adjust under the attributes folder theres no curve in here that means theres no dot gain compensation going on so what we do is we have a standard curve that would be the 80/60 curve and this basically just opens up the shadow tones a little bit if you could imagine this is zero percent and then one and you tune on up to 50 and then 7
