hi and welcome to this video in this video were going to be looking at editing csv files in powershell uh like adding a column or editing data in a cell of a csv file this was actually a video request so lets go ahead and lets get started on this here so i actually already have a csv file generated that ive used the convert csv website for so here it is uh its just called names and if i open this here in notepad we will see uh that just has like a sequential number first and a last name so what were going to be doing is were just going to be going through the first and last name and were going to be adding a column the first column were going to be adding is going to be a computed columns so basically were going to be taking something from the other columns and computing them together to make another column and then were actually just going to be adding another column with just like a true value so its going to be like a done column and were just going to set the done to t

How to create a new tag and populate from CSV Navigate to the Format listing page. You then need to filter out the IDs you dont want, leaving Product Format Ids or Product Ids to populate the tag you want to create. Go to the Tags page and create a new tag and name it.
To avoid formatting change on CSV, you first need to set data format manually. Activate the Insert tab in the Ribbon. Click From Text/CSV in the Get Transform Data section. Select your file. Move to the Step 3 by Next. In the 3rd step, select the columns where youd like to keep the formatting.
A CSV file must contain every column for all attributes of its object type. If the attribute value is not required, a column must exist with the attribute name and a comma for any blank attribute values. If a column is defined as optional, it means that the column is required to exist, but the value can be blank.
Add the created attributes to your products. Go to: Products Add Product (or edit an existing one). Select the Attributes tab in the Product Data. There you can choose any of the attributes that youve created in the dropdown menu. Select Add.
