Hi everyone. My name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can use mail merge to create address labels. So, what do I mean by that? Well, imagine that you have a list of addresses. So maybe in Excel or in Outlook, you have a list of maybe 30, 50, 60, maybe even hundreds of addresses and you want to print each one of those addresses onto an address label. Well, one way to do that is you could create a new address label sheet in Microsoft Word, and you could go through, and you could copy and paste each address into one of the labels and then you could print it out. But that sounds really painful and thats also going to take a long time. Today Im going to show you how you can use mail merge in Word to greatly simplify that task. Click Insert Merge Field to select data from the CSV file that you wish to insert into your form letter or label. If you are creating labels, you will need to type Enter between each line and Update all labels when you are done setting up the first label.
Import .csv file into the Avery label website On the right side of the page, click Labels. If a form window pops up, fill out the form (you can use info) On the right, click Address Labels. On the left side of the next screen, click Import Data (Mail Merge). Click on the large label in the middle of the page.
Address Labels allows you to import mailing/card lists from a . csv file. To make this process as simple as possible, Address Labels will look through the titles of the columns to determine which columns are name, street, country etc.

Steps Prepare your worksheet in Excel. Open your CSV file in Excel. Connect the Excel worksheet to your Word document. Open a blank Word document. Refine the list of recipients. On the Mailings tab, click Select Recipients, then click Use an Existing List. Insert placeholders. Preview and complete the merge.
