You can manually adjust the column width or row height or automatically resize columns and rows to fit the data.Resize columns Select a column or a range of columns. On the Home tab, select Format Column Width (or Column Height). Type the column width and select OK.
Select View and Fit Column Width to resize all columns in one step to optimal size. You can then drag to resize to personalised width if required for a particular column.
Select the column or columns that you want to change. On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format. Under Cell Size, click AutoFit Column Width. Note: To quickly autofit all columns on the worksheet, click the Select All button, and then double-click any boundary between two column headings.
Moving Columns with Drag and Drop Place the mouse cursor on the column that you want to move. Drag the column using drag and drop to the position in the list where you want to insert it. When the arrow displays the required position, release the mouse button.
Expand Multiple Rows and Columns at Once In the header, now left-click the mouse button right among the selected columns or rows. Now, try dragging the mouse to the left and right for columns or up and down for the rows when resizing the selected columns at once.
