To construct a control chart we need the LCL, the Centreline, and the UCL. Lets assume that they are 1.5, 8, and 15. We also need the data for the Statistic in question. Lets just put some values here. Next Im going to highlight the control limit values and drag all the way down here. Im now going to highlight the entire data, Click INSERT, and select Line Chart. Select the first template here. And there is my control chart. Next I can add markers by right-clicking anywhere on the blue line and selecting Format Data Series Click on the bucket icon Click MARKER, MARKER OPTIONS, and select Automatic.
