To convert a word document to a PDF that does not allow text copying, use the save as option in Microsoft Word to create a PDF. By default, the PDF allows text copying, but to prevent this, open the PDF in Acrobat Reader, go to file print, select Microsoft Print to PDF, and in the advanced settings, choose to print as an image. Without this setting, the text can still be copied from the PDF file. Save the document with the print as image option to prevent text copying.
