Visit a vehicle licensing office to have your title mailed to you within 4-6 weeks. Replacement titles for vehicles cost $35.50. Replacement titles for trailers cost $35.50. Replacement titles for boats cost $26.75.
You can file a bond with DOL for a three-year period and get a bonded title. The bond amount must be equal to one and a half times the vehicles value. You can file a petition in court for an order awarding you legal ownership of the vehicle.
