Chief Constable Chris Noble Chris has worked in a variety of roles across policing and has held a number of key leadership positions in the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) across local policing, professional standards, criminal justice and headquarters commands.
The current incumbent is Dafydd Llywelyn, who represents Plaid Cymru.
The first incumbents were elected in 2012 and served for three and a half years. Subsequent PCCs are elected on a four year basis, with the most recent Dafydd Llywelyn elected in May 2016, re-elected in May 2021 and once again in May 2024. The salary for the Dyfed-Powys Police Crime Commissioner is 68,202 per annum.
