Enrollment is a process whereby the final version of a bill is printed and proofread to ensure that the language in the document reflects the final action by the Legislature. The process culminates in the actual delivery of the bill to the Governors office. The Governor has 12 days to consider legislation.
An enrolled bill or resolution is the form of a measure finally agreed to by both chambers of Congress. Enrollment occurs in the chamber where the measure originated and is carried out by enrolling clerks under the supervision of the Clerk of the House of Representatives and Secretary of the Senate.
A printed version of a bill that is prepared when the bill has passed both houses in identical form. The enrolled bill is signed by the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate and becomes an act awaiting the Governors approval. Home Senate Directory House Directory Calendar.

The Governor has 12 days to sign, approve without signing, or veto a bill. A letter or phone call to the Governors Office is appropriate to state your position on the bill. If the bill is signed or approved without a signature, it goes to the Secretary of State to be chaptered.
