The Income Verification Express Service (IVES) program lets participants, mortgage lenders, banks, credit unions and others, request taxpayer authorization for the IRS to provide tax transcripts and wage statements in the loan application process.
Generally, this transcript is available for the current and nine prior tax years through Individual Online Account, and the current and three prior tax years through Get transcript by mail or by calling 800-908-9946.
Taxpayers using a tax year beginning in one calendar year and ending in the following year (fiscal tax year) must file Form 4506-T to request a return transcript. Note.
