Tax year 2022 and 2023 individual returns will not be able to be e-filed during the shut down but will resume on January 27, 2025.
Unfortunately, there is a limit on how far back you can file a tax return to claim tax refunds and tax credits. This IRS only allows you to claim refunds and tax credits within three years of the tax returns original due date.
Ways to file for free Free File - If your adjusted gross income is $84,000 or less. If higher, you can use Free File Fillable Forms. Direct File - Prepare and file your taxes online for free directly with the IRS.
All residents and non-residents, 18 or older, working in Toledo who have earned income are subject to the 2.5% City of Toledo income tax regardless of age.
