2. Begin by entering your name and Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) in the designated fields.
3. Next, input your spouse’s or Registered Domestic Partner’s (RDP’s) name and SSN or ITIN if applicable.
4. In Part I, provide whole dollar amounts for California Adjusted Gross Income, Amount You Owe, and Refund or No Amount Due as instructed.
5. Proceed to Part II where you will declare your information is accurate. Select a Personal Identification Number (PIN) as your electronic signature.
6. If filing jointly, authorize your spouse/RDP to act on your behalf by checking the appropriate box and signing where indicated.
7. Complete Part III only if using the Practitioner PIN method, entering the ERO's EFIN and PIN as required.
