Is the TSI harder than the SAT?

You are considered college ready if your score falls within the range of 350390. If your score is 349 or lower, you may be placed in a developmental course or intervention.

Can the SAT replace the TSI?

If a student does not meet the 1070 combined minimum, then the SAT scores cannot be used for TSI exemption. If your SAT Critical Reading score was 500+ and your combined Math + Critical Reading score was 1070+, you are exempt from the reading and writing areas.
