If your Pace percentage is below 66.67%, you will be considered to not meet the Pace of Progress. The first time you fail to meet any either the Pace or GPA Standard, you will be placed on Financial Aid Warning for your next semester of enrollment.
Financial Aid Suspension: If a student does not meet SAP standards, they will no longer be eligible for financial aid. Students may appeal, but financial aid remains paused until an approved appeal is submitted. Note that SAP appeals may be denied, leading to continued suspension.
Students who submit the SAP Appeal Plan and get approved are placed in SAP - Approved Appeal Plan (AAP) status. These students must follow the terms of their approved SAP Appeal Plan. These term requirements include: Achieving a minimum 2.0 term Grade Point Average (GPA) in all future terms.
SAP Appeal Outcomes If your SAP appeal is denied, you have two options. Option 1: You may resubmit your appeal with an extenuating circumstance and new supporting documentation. The appeal will then be reviewed ing to standard procedure.
