Passengers with diplomatic immunity, transit passengers and children below the age of 2 years are exempt from Departure tax.
You must complete a traveller declaration form (IMUGA) within 96 hours before your flight arrives in the Maldives.
All travelers are required to submit the Traveller Declaration IMUGA within 96 hours before their flight time for arrival. The IMUGA Travel Declaration is free of charge. This is an information document on travel and the health of the tourist, filled in and submitted by the tourist on the basis of a questionnaire.
