Employers may continue to offer employees earned paid sick time after Aug. 28, 2025, if they wish but are no longer required to do so beginning Aug.
Fast Food Minimum Wage Effective April 1, 2024 Starting April 1, 2024, all fast food restaurant employees who are covered by the new law must be paid at least $20.00 per hour.
Minimum Wage Increases to $13.75 per Hour for 2025. A minimum wage of $13.75 per hour takes effect on January 1, 2025. On Nov. 5, 2024, Missouri voters approved Proposition A, amending Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri to provide changes to the states minimum wage.
Beginning Aug. 28, 2025, public employers in the state will be required to pay non-exempt employees a minimum of $13.75 per hour, and starting Jan. 1, 2026, $15.00 per hour. Please direct any inquiries to the Division of Labor Standards at 573-751-3403.
