The MCLE requirements for the 2021-2023 reporting period are 30 total hours approved for Illinois MCLE credit, including at least six professional responsibility (PR) hours.

How do I check my CLE hours in Texas?

With 95,437 active members, the State Bar of Texas is one of the largest state bars in the United States. Unlike the American Bar Association (ABA), the State Bar of Texas (SBOT) is a mandatory bar.

What does mcle mean?

With a few exceptions, all active State Bar licensees must complete 25 hours of Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) in their three-year compliance periods and file a report with the State Bar. The State Bar audits compliance with MCLE requirements.

Do paralegals need a MCLE?

We offer a full day of programs for paralegals needing to meet some or all of the requirements of Business Professions Code Section 6450(d). What qualifies as a cle?

California CLE At least 4 hours of Ethics. At least 2 hours of Competence (1 hour in prevention and detection and 1 hour in Attorney Wellness); At least 2 hours of Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession (1 of these must specifically be in Implicit Bias) At least 1 hour of Technology.

What are the requirements for the MCLE in Texas?

3.1 Fifteen total hours of continuing legal education credit are required to be completed during each MCLE compliance year (including the initial 24-month compliance year) in order to meet the minimum educational requirements set out in Article XII, Section 6A, State Bar Rules.
