ASMSA is a specific investment by the General Assembly in the stateʼs most talented and promising young minds. Each year, 10th-, 11th-, and 12th-grade students from across Arkansas come to ASMSA to live and learn within a community of 250 intellectual peers.
The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts, a campus of the University of Arkansas System, is a public residential high school serving academically and artistically motivated students of all backgrounds from throughout the state.
have completed Algebra I prior to enrollment at ASMSA; submit equivalent as well as a minimum 19 subscore on the English, Math, and Reading sections; and. earn a minimum unweighted GPA requirement of 3.5.
ASMSA is a state-funded educational program, so tuition, books, room, and board are covered by the schools state funding from the Arkansas General Assembly. The annual student assessment is $850 $350 in residential fees and $250 each semester for the concurrent credit program.
