Arizona Private School Tuition Organization (APSTO) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) state certified School Tuition Organization (STO) that provides scholarship funding to children attending grades K-12 at qualified private schools in Arizona.
The maximum credit that can be claimed on the 2023 Arizona return for donations made to School Tuition Organizations for the Original credit is $655 for single, married filing separate and head of household taxpayers, and $1,308 for married filing joint taxpayers.
When completing your taxes, use your AZTO receipt to claim the credit. Arizona Forms 301, 323, and 348 are used when claiming the Private School Tuition Tax Credits. These forms become available by the Arizona Department of Revenue each December.
