To request a waiver Check the box in the Application Fee Waiver section of your admissions application (Ohio States regular or supplemental application) indicating the program for which you qualify. Complete and submit your admission application. You will not be asked to pay the application fee.
Insurance. Each employee is required to carry disability insurance, with benefits paid up to 60 percent of the employees salary. Additionally, each employee is required to carry a basic $20,000 term life insurance policy, which includes accidental death and dismemberment.
Full-time faculty and staff who enroll in standard OSU credit courses may receive a waiver of half the tuition on courses and a waiver of specified fees. View the request form for more information.
Full waiver of out-of-state tuition for up to 5 years of undergraduate and some graduate study. Out-of-state students must pay the in-state portion of tuition and all fees.

The Faculty and Staff Tuition Assistance Plan pays the instructional, general and non-Ohio resident fees (up to 10 hours per term) for eligible employees who take courses at Ohio State. The benefit is available upon employment in an eligible appointment of at least 75% FTE.
Reimbursement will be limited to 18 credit hours (or the equivalent in the Career Tech System) or $5,000 in a calendar year whichever comes first. The payment date determines to which calendar year the reimbursement is applied. Reimbursement is subject to a $15,000.00 lifetime career benefit cap.
