What are the CME requirements for SDMS?

To be eligible for SDMS CME credit consideration as a SDMS CME Provider, the submitted activity must be directly related to sonographers or other users of ultrasounds professional responsibilities, clinical practice, patient care and education, or practice management.

Is diagnostic medical sonography the same as ultrasound tech?

In most instances sonographer and ultrasound tech are interchangeable terms, but sonographers are required to complete additional training and certifications. For this reason, many prefer to be called a sonographer over ultrasound technician.
