A: 283B is the form number that you will find on the bottom left hand corner of the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and/or Home Health Aide (HHA) Initial Application. Your school should give this form to you when you complete a CNA program. It must be filled out and signed by the RN in charge of your CNA program.
Requirements in California Be at least 16 years old. Be in good physical health. Up-to-date immunization records. Have a high-school diploma or GED. Pass a criminal background check. Graduate from a Certified Nursing Assistant School in California. Pass the State Exam. Become a Certified CNA.
The average CNA class in California costs $1700, with a range of $1200 to $2565, and most programs are approximately 12 weeks long. The examination would cost $130. Extra costs may include books, classroom fees, and uniforms, depending on the school.
