Withdrawing From a Class. Usually during the first week or two of classes each semester, colleges have a drop/add period. Pulling out of a class during this time frame which varies by institution is known as dropping. Joining another class is also allowed if its not at capacity.
If you need to withdraw from GCSU, please access the withdrawal form through MyGCSUPAWS Student Services Online Withdrawal Form.
Students may drop classes via MyGCSU/PAWS or by submitting an Add/Drop Card (Course Change Card) to the Registrars Office for processing during this period. Students with an advisor hold must obtain approval from their academic advisor to drop a class; no additional approvals are required during this period.
Dropping a Course Students can drop a course through PAWS by selecting Web Drop/ Delete next to the course they wish to drop. A dropped course does not appear on the official transcript. Late Registration is the final week to drop a class and receive a full refund.
