How many times can I take a NICET test?

You may take as many exams as you would like. When scheduling your exams with Pearson VUE, you may schedule your exams for the same day, depending on the time slots available.

How long is a NICET test good for?

NICET certification holders are required to redocHub every three years. In addition to the renewal fee, certificants must attain and document 90 CPD points for each certification subfield area held during the three-year period.

How long does the NICET application take?

NICET strives to review all Experience Applications within 90 days of the applicant meeting the exam requirement. The actual time varies based on the volume of applications received by NICET. Upon completing the review, NICET will either issue certification or a Conditional Decision Letter (CDL).

How many times can you fail NICET test?

Failed tests may be rescheduled for examination after a 30-day period has elapsed. Retesting will be limited to a maximum of three attempts in any 12-month span. After the 3rd attempt, candidates must wait 6 months before retesting again.
