you hello everyone how are you doing this is MD tank here with another quick tutorial in todays tutorial Im going to show you guys how to either hide or unhide all your comments when youre moving your cursor around cells containing comments within the Excel application so this should hopefully be a pretty straightforward tutorial and without further ado lets jump right into it so were going to start as you can see I currently do not have them visible so yes you have to hover over the little red checkmark in order to access the comment so if you want them permanently shown on the spreadsheet were gonna start by opening up the review tab and then you want a love quick ones show all comments so now we clicked out of it and we went over and did anything else one over another sheet doesnt really matter the comments will still be visible here now if you wanted to hide them very simple just go up to the review tab unselect show all comments and there we go were back to where we starte

Hiding and Posting Grades in Canvas Go to your Canvas Gradebook. Select the 3 dot icon at the top of the assignment column (See Fig. 1). Select Grade Posting Policy. Change the setting to Manual. Select Save. The grades will be hidden from the students until you choose to Post Grades.
Those comments are visible from the Grades area for the student. On the Grades page, the score column displays the assignment score and total score in a single column. Students will see an unread indicator (blue dot) on the feedback button when a new comment is added to an assignment or a rubric.
Open the SpeedGrader for the assignment. Click the eye icon in the upper left corner. Select the Hide Grades option. To hide grades/comments for a particular section (or sections), select the Specific Sections option, then select the desired sections.
Note: Deleted comments cannot be recovered. Locate Media. In your Studio account, locate the media you want to view. View Comments. Click the Comments tab. Delete Comment. To delete your comment, click the Delete icon [1], then click the confirm delete link [2].
If its set to manual, then Canvas will not automatically post grades and submission comments to students. It will wait for the teacher to manually post them. The Hide Grades option hides only grades and comments that have already been posted.
There is currently NO WAY to hide annotations. You can hide grades and grade comments but if a student clicks on the assignment inside their own gradebook they can see the annotations that are left.
That means an instructor has selected to hide the grades. From the ellipsis to the right of the assignment name in the column header, you can select Post grades, then select one of the options to post the grades to everyone or only the ones the instructor has graded.
Feedback/comments along with the score are hidden from students until the instructor posts the assignments grades. Total course grade also is hidden from students until the instructor posts the assignments grades. Instructor must remember to post grades once ready to release grades and feedback to students.
