What is the shortcut for highlighting text in docHub?

To enable single-key shortcuts, open the Preferences dialog box (Edit Preferences), and under General, select the Use Single-Key Accelerators To Access Tools option. After making changes in preferences you can use Shift+U key for highlighting.

How to make a straight highlight in a PDF?

Open a PDF file and select the Annotate tab. Select the Highlight , Underline , or Strikeout tool. Choose the color for each tool on the sidebar on the right. In the underline tool, you can also switch between a squiggle and a straight line there.

Why cant I highlight text in PDF?

The most common reason that you cant highlight PDF documents is because the document doesnt actually contain any real text. Instead, it contains scanned text, which is essentially an image of the text. In this case, you wont be able to highlight, underline, strikethrough, or edit this text in any way.
