Hi everyone, Steve Patterson here from Photoshop Essentials. In this video, I show you how easy it is to fill a shape with an image in Photoshop. This is an update to my original video from way back in 2017. And this time, I show you a couple of ways to speed things up, including a faster way to draw your shape, and how to open your image as a layer in the same document as your shape. And at the end, Ill show you how to remove the background and how to save the file so you can add your shape and the image inside it to any background you like. To follow along, youll want to be using Photoshop 2022 or later. Lets get started! Well start by creating a new document. If youre on the Home Screen, click the New file button. Or you can go up to the File menu and choose New. Either way opens the New Document dialog box. For this tutorial, Ill create a square-shaped document by setting both the width and the height to 2000 pixels. Ill set the Resolution to 300 pixels per inch, and Ill l
