Prevent a formula from displaying in the formula bar Select the range of cells whose formulas you want to hide. You can also select nonadjacent ranges or the entire sheet. Select Home Format Format Cells. On the Protection tab, select the Hidden check box.
To hide formulas: Select the cells for which you to want to hide the formulas. Right-click the cell (or cells) and choose Format Cells. In the Format Cells dialog box, click the Protection tab. Check the Hidden box. Note: Hidden is what prevents the user from seeing the formula. Click OK.
How do I lock a formula in Excel using F4? To lock a formula in Excel using the F4 key, select the cell containing the formula you want to lock. Click on the formula within the formula bar or directly within the cell to place the cursor in the formula. Press the F4 key on your keyboard.
Replace formulas with their calculated values Select the cell or range of cells that contains the formulas. If the formula is an array formula, select the range that contains the array formula. Click Copy . Click Paste . Click the arrow next to Paste Options. , and then click Values Only.

Show Formulas mode: Check if you have accidentally turned on the Show Formulas mode. This mode displays the formula in each cell instead of the calculated result. You can toggle this mode on and off by pressing Ctrl + ` (grave accent).
Below are the steps to hide formulas: Select all the cells in the worksheet (you can do this by clicking on the gray triangle at the top left part of the sheet). Click the Home tab. In the editing group, click on the Find Select option. Click on the Go-To Special option.
