hey guys this is anthony morganti i am mr photographer.com in this video im going to teach you how to set your raw defaults in docHub camera raw let me explain on my desktop i have a nikon raw file it doesnt matter what type of cameras raw file you have were just going to open it up into photoshop of course when you open a raw file directly into photoshop it will open up in docHub camera raw docHub camera raw when you open up this raw file even if its not processed at all it does a bit of processing to it for example its that the profile is docHub color also if you go down to detail youll see that it added a sharpening of 40 with those settings it also did noise reduction to zero but color noise reduction at 25. so it did some raw default settings it applied some raw default settings to the image what if you dont like these raw default settings what if in my case i want sharpening at zero for every raw file i import into docHub camera raw as well as maybe i want color noise reduction

To set default settings for raw images, do the following: In the Camera Raw dialog box, click the Open Preferences Dialog button . Or, in Photoshop, choose Edit Preferences Camera Raw (Windows) or Photoshop Preferences Camera Raw (macOS). Select Raw Defaults from the Camera Raw Preferences dialog box.
Step 1: Open Photoshop. Go to FileOpen and then navigate to the JPEG file youd like to open in docHub Camera Raw. Step 2: With the file showing in Photoshop, go to FilterCamera Raw Filter. This will open the docHub Camera Raw window and allow you to make all the adjustments youd like in ACR.
RAW files are a type of raster file format, but not actually images themselves. This means you need to import them into relevant software before you can edit or export them as a different raster image file, like a JPEG.

To save Camera Raw settings as a preset With your corrected photo open in Camera Raw, choose Save Settings from the Settings menu. The Save Settings dialog opens. Check which categories of settings you want saved in the preset. Click Save. The saved settings preset is now available in the Presets tab.
Go under the Photoshop CC (PC: Edit) menu, under Preferences, and choose Camera Raw (all the way at the bottom). When the Camera Raw Preferences dialog opens, near the bottom, youll see the JPEG and TIFF Handling section. From the JPEG pop-up menu, choose Automatically Open All Supported JPEGs, and then click OK.
