The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) is a nonprofit public utility created in November 1934 by the Texas Legislature. LCRAs mission is to enhance the lives of the Texans it serves through water stewardship, energy and community service.
Funds are designed by Local Authorities for projects like activities for young people, volunteer programmes and development of communal facilities.
The FAFSA or TASFA (S.B. 1528 students) serve as the TEXAS Grant application and no other forms are required. Eligible students are automatically considered for entry into the program in one of four pathways on a first-come/first-served basis until funds are no longer available.
