Most states require Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) and Corporations to submit some form of ongoing business entity filing. While many states require these filings annually (i.e., annual reports), several require them biennially (every two years).
Who is required to submit a Biennial Report? You are required by federal statute (Title 40, section 261.41) to complete and file the Hazardous Waste Report (Biennial Report) if your site: Generated, in one calendar month, greater than or equal to 1,000 kilograms (kg; 2,200 pounds [lbs.])
For the vast majority of states, the Biennial Report is submitted via the EPAs RCRAInfo reporting website. To complete the report using RCRAInfo, one must create an account and register with certifying authority for their specific site.
The toxic contaminants and their threshold levels are included in Ohios hazardous waste regulations (OAC rule 3745-51-24). Examples include wastes that contain heavy metals (e.g., lead, chromium, mercury, cadmium) or certain chemicals (e.g., benzene, MEK, pesticides).
While nearly every state requires information reports to be filed periodically, not all require that information to be filed annually. Some states have biennial reports (due every other year) instead. Whether annual or biennial, the purpose of a companys annual report remains the same.

Materials Subject to Spill/Release Reporting The Reportable Quantity (RQ) for the discharge into navigable waters is an amount which causes a visible film or sheen upon the surface of the water. The RQ for the release of oil into the environment, excluding navigable waters, is an amount of 25 gallons or more.
What are Biennial Update Reports (BURs)? BURs are reports submitted by developing countries to the UNFCCC, as per the obligations under the Paris Agreement. They include: National GHG Inventory: Detailed emission sources, sinks, and trends. Climate Action Plans: Updates on policies and programs to mitigate emissions.
