Examples of utilities include electricity, water and gas. Depending on how you define utilities, you could also add sewage, trash and recycling, or even cable, internet, phone and streaming services to that list.
More than 95 percent of the electricity EWEB serves its customers comes from hydropower, wind and other sources that do not generate carbon-based emissions that are linked to global warming. Most of this electricity comes from the federal Bonneville Power Administration and from EWEBs own hydroelectric projects.
