The American Red Cross has launched RapidPass, a new online tool that allows blood donors to complete pre-reading and donation questions from home, reducing their time at blood drives by up to 15 minutes. Donors must complete the process on the day of their donation and bring a printed or mobile version of their pass. RapidPass aims to increase donor participation and streamline the donation process, making it available in select regions starting July 2015.
