Task Order Proposal means the technical and financial response by a Contractor to a TORFP.
Work orders and purchase orders both play an important role in many businesses today. The difference between the two resides in the fact that work order typically deal with labor and tasks while purchase orders deal with parts and items.
(1) Except as provided for in paragraphs (c)(2) and (3) of this section, the ordering period of a task-order contract for advisory and assistance services, including all options or modifications, normally may not exceed 5 years.
