Pawshake charges a Host Service Fee of 19% to the Host from each Booking to cover the costs of payment processing, marketing and site administration.
Using Pawshake is completely free for both sitters and pet owners, but booking a sitter of course comes with a price. Each pet sitter determines his or her prices for each specific service such as dog walking of home pet boarding.
Prices vary depending on the sitters proximity to the pet owner and whether the pet has to be picked up or left off. If you have more than one dog or pet, pay $10 for each additional dog or pet. Pet sitters often charge $25 for a 30-minute visit, $20 to $30 a day, $45 to $75 per night, or $250 to $375 per week.
Out of each booking, we keep a contribution of 19%, so we only earn something when you do. Please take the contribution into account when deciding how much you want to charge. If you, for instance, want to receive $10 for walking a dog, you need to charge $12 in your listing. You receive 81% of your advertised price.
If a sitter takes a long time to reply, provides vague responses, or is inconsistent with their availability, thats a big red flag. If theyre unreliable during the initial communication, they might be just as unresponsive while youre away.
