Applying For a Library Card Find an employee to talk to. Once at the library, find a person who works there to ask about library accounts. Ask to apply for a library card. Fill out all necessary paper work. Sign your library card.
Applicant should fill the application form obtained from the library or downloaded from the web page. There is a separate application for childrens membership.
Non-resident Library Cards are available for $120 annually or $30 quarterly. Nonresidents can apply for a free limited access Library Card by presenting their current/valid TexShare card from a participating library system.

Adult Library Cards link Adult Resident cards are good for 3 years from the date issued/renewed. $120 Yearly Non-Resident cards issued/renewed are good for 1 year from the date paid. $30 Quarterly Non-Resident cards issued/renewed are good for 3 months from the date paid.
