The training takes approximately three months full-time or eight months part-time. Workplace experience requires around 75 working days (15 weeks) of supervised experience in the delivery of legal services.
Full-time PLT takes 20 weeks plus professional placement. Part-time PLT takes 30 weeks plus professional placement.
(In short, it usually takes at least three years of full-time study to become a lawyer.) Complete a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) if you havent completed (or partially completed) an undergraduate degree. Consider a double degree and specialise.
