Mobile ID Cards for Online Students Switch to digital ID cards and eliminate the need for costly shipping by providing online students with instant access to their mobile IDs, no matter where they are.
Every student, faculty, and staff member receives a CruzID when they are hired or enrolled. Your CruzID is part of your UCSC email address (e.g., bslug@ucsc.edu), where bslug is the CruzID.
Your seven-digit Student Identification Number is the numeric portion of your User ID for MyUCSC. It can also be found on your Student ID Card embedded in the library bar code number on the right side of each card, in the middle of the bar code between the two hyphens.
If your ID card is damaged, or if you are changing your identity/lived name, you must bring to IDCS the ID card you want replaced (with a current quarter validation sticker on it). IDCS can then apply the current quarter sticker to your replacement ID card.
