Web Time Entry The WebTime Entry system will allow you to log into a secure website and enter the hours and leave online from any computer with access to the Internet. Your time and/or leave is then approved online by your supervisor and sent electronically to Payroll for processing.
Web Time Entry is a web-based system designed to enable employees to submit hours worked and leave taken electronically, eliminating the paper submission of time sheets, attendance and leave forms. All time must be approved by a supervisor before it can be processed by Payroll.
The Web Time Clock is a version of the shop floor terminal you can run on a PCs web browser. You can also run the Web Time Clock using the web browser on an iPhone, iPad, or Android phone. The Web Time Clock has similar functionality to an InTeract Client terminal.
A time entry allows employees to enter when they start and end work on a project or task or how much time they spend on it. These entries can then be used for billing clients and processing payrolls.
This can be done for a number of reasons, such as disguising a long break, trying to pad overtime pay, or hiding absenteeism. While timesheet fraud is not explicitly against any federal laws, it does interact with certain labor laws that makes it effectively illegal.
