By default all Cornell email first arrives to Outlook and is forwarded to Gmail. A copy of the email stays in Outlook. If you decide to switch to Outlook you will see all of the email youve received since starting at Cornell sitting in your Outlook inbox unread.
Many colleges will discontinue alumni email addresses a few months after graduation, so its best to stay on the safe side and create a new one. Be sure to include your education on your resume and applications, as its definitely something you should be proud of.
