The Purpose of New Member Education (NME) during the allocated period (about a month) is to be a comprehensive program to teach the history, values, and traditions of each organization. New member education programs will help to develop qualified, participating members of your chapter.
Greek life at UChicago is totally unique. Our chapters are filled with accomplished, ambitious, well-rounded women that have a positive influence on our campus, our community, and throughout the world.
Clubs and Organizations: Supporting student-managed groups, including performing arts clubs, social clubs, service organizations, academic clubs, honors societies, and club sports. Azusa Pacific University does not allow or recognize national social clubs, fraternities, or sororities.
Greek life at Stevens is defined by the successes of the more than 1,000 undergraduate members roughly 22% of the undergrad population who make up our fraternities and sororities.
During the new member education process, a chapters newest sisters learn all the public information about their sorority. During the initiation ceremony, they finally learn all the secret rituals, mottos, missions and symbol meanings unique to their sorority.
