OU Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver Full-time employees enrolling in regular coursework receive a tuition benefit that waives one half of tuition and several fees for up to 6 hours per semester or 3 hours per summer session. Full-time employees may enroll in 1 course (up to 5 hours) per semester during working hours.
Eligibility Requirements To be eligible for the tuition waiver for children of University employees, the child must be both: Under age 25 at the beginning of any academic year (defined as the first day of instruction) in which the waiver will be effective; and. A natural child, adopted child, or stepchild.
A dependent waiver is required when an applicant is married with more than two dependents under the age of 18 or when an applicant is unmarried and has custody of any dependents under the age of 18.
Fee Exemption vs. Fee Waiver A fee waiver means that we require a fee for a form but waive this requirement for an individual requestor because of their inability to pay the fee. If you request a fee waiver and show us that you are eligible, then you will not need to pay the filing fee for the associated form.
The College Fee Waiver for Veteran Dependents benefit waives mandatory system-wide tuition and fees at any State of California Community College, California State University, or University of California campus. This program does not cover the expense of books, parking or room and board.
