Housing assignments for new freshmen and graduate students as well as transferring undergraduates are made on a first-come, first-served basis. After class standing, the single most important factor in determining if and where you will be assigned is the date we receive your application.
How much USC Housing is available to upperclassmen and transfer students? USC Housing has just under 7,000 undergraduate bed spaces in our inventory and prioritizes those spaces for new freshmen and rising sophomores. However, there are over 20,000 undergraduate students enrolled at USC far more than we can house.
For general information you may call the Housing Services Office at (213) 740-2546 from 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday-Friday. For maintenance issues when your CSC is closed, please call the Housing Maintenance Hotline at (213) 740-4646.
USC has three suite-style buildings: two on campus and one in USC Village. Suite floor plans vary by building and are made up of two to four rooms, either single or double occupancy with one large or two smaller bathrooms. Some suites also have a small common area.
