If you cant meet with an advisor, you can usually also officially withdraw from classes using your online student account.
Submit a withdrawal request. You may also be asked to meet with your academic adviser for exit counseling, which typically involves reviewing important school policies and discussing the options you have open to you. Once the paperwork goes through, your enrollment will be officially terminated.

Students who wish to withdraw from all courses, and return to RIC in a future semester, should complete the Leave of Absence process. Students who complete the withdrawal process within the add/drop period (see deadline on Academic Calendar) will not have any grades posted to their RIC transcript.
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS: WITHDRAWAL Undergraduates must withdraw through their academic advisor and/or academic deans office. All requests for withdrawal require deans office approval.
