A student desiring to withdraw from the University must obtain an official withdrawal form from the Office of the Registrar. The form must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar when it is completed. This policy applies to all terms including fall and spring semesters, fall and spring A/B terms, and summer terms.
Placement on Academic Warning Any student who has attempted 12 or more credits at Samford University must have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 in work done at Samford. Failure to maintain a 2.00 GPA will result in being placed on academic warning.
Discuss your decision with your professors and academic advisor first, and finish out the semester if you can. Once youve decided to drop out of college, submit an official withdrawal request through your university. These requests usually require you to complete some paperwork before your enrollment is terminated.
All students enrolled in the program must be in their assigned residence halls by 11:00 p.m. All students must be in their assigned rooms with lights out by 11:30 p.m. each night.
