Graduation diplomas are sent out by colleges at different times depending on the school. Diplomas can take up to two months to be mailed out after the graduation ceremony. Having worked hard for four years, many recent graduates are looking forward to receiving their diplomas.
Diplomas are disbursed via the Office of the University Registrar (OUR). Students must complete the Diploma Mailing form (PDF) and submit to OUR. Carefully review and follow the instructions for payment under Payment Options on the bottom of the form.
No matter the reason, contact the Office of the Registrar at the college or university you attended. For public universities or private universities in the United States, you can simply Google Registrar Office replacement diploma along with the full name of your alma mater.
A simple phone call or email to the correct contact person at your school should set the process in motion. Once youve communicated with the main/registrars office, you can request a copy of your diploma directly. The staff may request that you provide identification or pay a small fee for a copy of your diploma.
